Undershadows

Undershadows is a darkly absurd adventure with a fully hand-drawn world, a unique real-time point-and-click combat system, and a shadow companion with more personality than you might expect.

Some places you never forget. Others never let you leave.

🕷️ A dark adventure with bite

Uncover an absurd, melancholic story about loss, identity, and twisted fates – filled with dark humor, moral gray areas, and nasty surprises.

🎨 800+ hand-drawn scenes

Explore a surreal world brought to life by hand –

just real illustrations shaped by shadow.

⚔️ Tactical real-time combat with point-and-click action

Click on enemies to attack in real time, deflect projectiles with precise timing, unleash powerful skills, and use items from your inventory.

But beware: each enemy type has unique behavior – some transform mid-battle, strike back when defeated, or can kill you in a single blow. Others challenge you with puzzles or projectile patterns. No fight is ever the same.

💀 Nightmarish boss fights with unique flow

Face massive shadow creatures that reshape entire levels – complete with special rules, unexpected attacks, and story events mid-battle.

No boss is the same. None will go easy on you.

🧠 Train your evolving shadow

Your companion is more than a monster – it’s you. Level it up, choose transformation paths (e.g. Nature > Beast > Hydra or Tech > Weapons > Rocket Launcher), unlock new abilities, and define your own combat style.

🎭 The shadows talk – way too much

You're joined by a sarcastic, borderline psychotic mask that never shuts up, comments on everything – and might just drive you insane. Maybe.

🌒 The Shadowlands await

Journey through a semi-open world. Forests that breathe. Caves that scream. An ancient castle hidden in the mountains.

A cheerful town…

A what?

Ugh. I hate those red noses.

🧩 Deep sidequests & surreal puzzles

Nothing is what it seems. Not even the shadows trying to help you.

But is being alone really the better option?
