Soviet Backrooms

Soviet Backrooms is a first-person survival horror set in the familiar, decaying interiors of post-Soviet apartment buildings. Explore abandoned apartments, stairwells, and corridors that seem to stretch forever. Search for a way out while something unseen follows you through the darkness.

You know these walls. You remember the buzzing fluorescent lights.

But you've never been here before.

And the footsteps behind you aren't yours.

A Place You Shouldn't Remember

Walk through worn Khrushchyovka hallways, empty apartments, forgotten stairwells, and underground spaces. Peeling wallpaper, cracked tiles, and flickering lights make everything feel strangely familiar.

The deeper you explore, the less these places make sense. A building you almost recognize becomes a maze you cannot explain.

Listen. Something Is Behind You.

Footsteps echo through empty corridors. The lights buzz overhead. Somewhere nearby, something moves, but when you turn around, there's nothing there.

Keep exploring. Listen to your surroundings. The way out is somewhere ahead, but whatever is following you may be getting closer.
