About this game
Kalevania is a thrilling retro-style action platformer that takes inspiration from Finnish mythology, the Finnish Epic "Kalevala" and classic Japanese console games. Embark on an exciting adventure as the legendary Väinämöinen and journey through seven uniquely themed locations, each with its own set of challenges and enemies to overcome.
Choose your weapons wisely and fight your way through hordes of enemies using bare hands, sword, axe, bow, and 12 different runic weapons.
With over 50 enemy types and variations, along with many powers, upgrades, and collectibles to discover, there's no shortage of excitement to be found. Immerse yourself in the stunning world of Kalevania and enjoy the original score composed, recorded, and arranged by Ilari Hannula, and produced by Jukka Mattila and Ilari Hannula.
