Don't Forget to Smile

A Bullet Heaven Roguelike About Breaking Free

This isn't just a game—it's a raw, unfiltered scream against the soul-crushing grind of minimum wage work and the suffocating corporate machine.

Do you ever feel like it’s all too much? Like the game is rigged from the start? Your "manager" is lording over you for being three minutes late, your job is a cycle of mindless tasks, and life is slipping through your fingers. Welcome to your breaking point.

Don't Forget to Smile is a fast-paced survivors-like bullet heaven where you fight through relentless waves of everyday enemies. Armed with weapons inspired by - and mocking - industry, health and safety and technology, you’ll gear up, level up and reach your breaking point.

• 10+ Weapons to unlock, forged from the tools of industry and oppression.

• 15+ Augments to unlock, infused with industrial tech and medicine.

• Upgrade Shop (No, not real money! No microtransactions here)

• Hidden Synergies between weapons and augments unleash devastating effects.

• A Satirical Take on corporate culture, mental health, and the human condition.

Work your way up and out of the corporate ladder, smearing your oppressors across the screen as you shoot, stun, electrify, burn, explode, slap and squash your way to the good life.

All brought to life through a unique blend of hand-drawn artwork, 3D renders, and 2D animation.

Hello! I'm Jamie and I am a solo dev - along with my trusty sound guy Frank, of course.

We worked on this in our spare time, alongside family and work.

We're committed to releasing a game that you enjoy. Not a cash grab, not a buggy mess, and not rushed. (so if you find anything you're not happy with, please tell us!)

Your playing, wishlisting and sharing of this game is greatly appreciated.
