About this game
Massive Overhaul — Out Now
The farm got bigger. So did the night. The biggest update since launch is live, free for everyone who owns the game:
Sectors — the map grows outward. Claim alien-biome sectors and build on all of it.
Mortar turret — 45 metres of range, lobbed shells, big impact booms.
Overclock — a new tech track that pushes your turrets past spec.
Advancing fronts — waves arrive as a broad line per portal, and a director grades every wave and turns the heat up on good teams.
Save & Continue — autosave every wave, five save slots. Stop tonight, finish tomorrow.
Self-destruct — a unanimous vote blows the farm from the rim inward. End it on your terms.
Lazy cat crew — four crew Catbots loaf, nap, beg and dance, and still fix your walls.
Sandbox mode — jump to any wave, every sector open, free tech.
Build and Defend Your Catnip Farm From Aggressive Aliens Bent on Universal Domination.
Catnip Wars is a 1–4 player co-op tower defense game. You and your friends are scrappy Catbots — the last line of defense between a precious catnip farm and endless waves of hungry monsters. Build, repair, shoot, and hold the line together… or alone.

Build Your Base
Place turrets, mortars, walls, catnip farms, windmills, repair stations and more on a hex grid — anywhere you like, your layout is your strategy. Claim new sectors and the farm grows outward.
Balance your economy: farms grow catnip, windmills generate the power that keeps your turrets firing. Overbuild anything and you lose it all. Grow catnip too fast and you may attract unwanted attention...
Repair, salvage, and rebuild between waves — every wave gets bigger and meaner.
Fight the Horde
14 monster types, from swarming chompers to armored giants, ranged casters, and elite variants that shrug off small-arms fire.
Waves arrive as advancing fronts, and an adaptive director grades every wave — hold well and it turns the heat up.
Man your BFG (Bio-Force Gun) for the big waves. Focus down the boss Necros with your teammates.
When a teammate goes down, the pressure is on — if the whole team falls, the monsters rampage and the farm is lost to breakdancing aliens.
Grow Stronger
A 43-node tech tree with the Overclock track: unlock better turrets, tougher walls, faster repairs, and wilder abilities as you earn XP across matches.
11+ playable Catbots, each with their own look and personality, plus a lazy crew of four who help hold the wall.
100 Steam achievements, lifetime stats, and global leaderboards — how many waves can your squad survive?
Play Your Way
Solo, online co-op with friends via Steam invites.
In-game text chat and Steam voice chat built in.
Quick matches or long sieges — a run can last 5–30 minutes, and autosave every wave means you can stop tonight and continue tomorrow.
Sandbox mode: pick your wave, open every sector, try any build.
Done with the farm? Call a self-destruct vote and end it on your terms.
One farm. Four Catbots. Infinite monsters. Everyone's a winner. How long can you hold out?
